SCOTUS and Marriage

Our nation is embroiled in a huge moral war today, of which the side of immorality recently won a large battle.  The desire and right for homosexuals to marry has been awarded to the homosexual activists by the United States Supreme Court (SCOTUS). 
 

The sad fact about where our nation is headed is that the whole issue of marriage is not one which government should even be involved.  Marriage is the idea and institution designed by the Master and Creator of the Universe, the Almighty God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Good Lord made it extremely clear that the two genders make each other complete.  (Genesis 1:27-28)  God’s plan has always been to bring about families who love him and love each other. 

Our nation was dealt a devastating blow when on May 9, 2012 the supposed leader of this nation, a supposed follower of Jesus Christ, Barack Obama, stated in an interview on ABC TV with Robin Roberts, that, “I think same sex couples should be able to get married.” 

When leaders begin to verbalize that and believe the very teaching of God is no longer valid, our nation is in trouble.  The Defense of Marriage Act was passed by our Congress and signed into law by President Clinton; Proposition 8 was voted on and passed by a majority of the citizens of the State of California: Yet, the homosexual activists will not give up and now the SCOTUS has decided, the 9 unelected people in black robes get to decide what is best for people of the United States. This nation is headed for disaster. 

 Homosexuality and lesbianism are clearly called very strong forms of sin in the very Word of God, the Bible.  Leviticus 18:22 states “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.” 

Detestable, the SCOTUS has said that which is detestable is an acceptable place in which children can be raised.

Now the facts are these: 

The radical homosexual activists have figured out how to gain strength.  The homosexual population in this nation is about 3%, though because of the often repeated lie, it is growing and becoming much stronger.  The radical homosexual activists have proclaimed that homosexual life is inborn.  However, there is not one reputable study that shows there is such a thing as a “gay gene” as they proclaim.  They have figured out that if a lie is repeated often enough, loud enough that it is eventually accepted.  The main stream media has taken every opportunity to shout from the highest roof tops that homosexual, “gays” are born that way.  God does not make people who are born with a gene for sin. 

Our liberty is being attacked and taken hostage by the homosexual population.  For if the Bible believing Christian speaks out against homosexuality and speaks to the truth of that lifestyle, their right to free speech is muffled and they are subject to arrest for a hate crime. 

The right to homosexual marriage is not in the constitution.  As Justice Alito stated in the dissenting opinion of The United States v Windsor, (Windsor) couches her argu­ment in different terms, what she seeks is a holding that enshrines in the Constitution a particular understanding of marriage under which the sex of the partners makes no difference. The Constitution, however, does not dictate that choice. It leaves the choice to the people, acting through their elected representatives at both the federal and state levels.

The right to free speech is in the constitution.  Who is going to protect that if we don’t? 

The people of this nation acted, through its congress, the State of California acted by a vote of the people.  Our liberty is being taken over by 9 people in black robes. 

A larger problem exists.  That problem is that there are “churches”, liberal churches, which are teaching that homosexual marriage is of God and that homosexuality is normal.  In fact those churches are allowing homosexuals to be leaders of its people.   They must read and study their Bible, they must pray, they must call for Biblical teaching in their churches.   

The people of God, the people of this nation must act. They must call this lifestyle what it is…sin. However, they must do something most find extremely hard to do.  They must love the sinner and hate the sin.  In the eyes of God, sin is sin. 

The voting public must know who they are voting for and what those they elect believe, where they stand on these issues.  Use the correct language, there is nothing “gay” about that lifestyle of sin, it is “homosexuality.”  It is “detestable”.

Pray for this nation, that the Lord God will show mercy upon this nation for not only the acceptance of homosexuality, but abortion, as well. 

Speak the truth, for the truth shall set you free.         

 

 

 

When is the testing going to stop?  Or maybe they have moved into full blown attacks now? 

 

On or about Oct 19, 2008, then Vice – Presidential Candidate Joe Biden stated “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama…”

Just in case you have lost count since the first Inauguration of Barack Hussein Obama, since taking office, the number of terrorist attacks on U.S. soil under Barack Obama = six.  Since the second Inauguration of Barack Hussein Obama = one, how many more must we put up with?   

o                    June 2009 – Little Rock, Arkansas – Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, an American Muslim opened fire on a U.S. military recruiting office. Private William Long was killed and Private Quinton Ezeagwula was wounded.

o                    September 2009 – New York, New York – Attempt to detonate bombs in NYC subway system by member of al-Qaeda

o                    November 2009 – Fort Hood, Texas – Nadal Malik Hassan conducts mass shooting at Fort Hood killing 13 and wounding 30 others.

o                    December 2009 – Detroit, Michigan – Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab attempts to detonate an explosive on an aircraft enroute from Amsterdam to Detroit.

o                    May 2010 – New York City, New York – New York’s Times Square was evacuated after the discovery of a car bomb.

o                    April 22, 2013 – Boston, Mass – bombs explode at the Boston Marathon by suspect brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev.  

So I ask, when is the testing going to end?

I see it this way, the testing is over.  The attackers all know that Barack Hussein Obama is afraid to do anything to stop them and is the closest thing they have to a good buddy in the U.S.

I would hope that in the coming off year election the people of the nation see that the leadership of this nation is actually in the House of Representatives and not in the White House or the Senate. 

In Michigan, we have the opportunity to replace Senator Carl Levin, a longtime supporter of the mentality of the Barack Hussein Obama, by electing a conservative from Michigan to the United States Senate. 

We simply must protect the homeland of this nation.  It has been proven, the Democrats don’t know how to do it. Since the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, the number of terrorist attacks on U.S. soil under a Republican Administration = ZERO

Not only is it time to protect the homeland, but when we must know that the position in the White House, is not a test position.  However, if it was, it has proven the current occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. has failed the test.

MY RESPONSE TO BO' FOOLISHNESS

My response to the most recent State of the Union address. 

I was shocked that this president finds himself quoting the constitution.  Let alone that he would quote President John Fitzgerald Kennedy.  First he seems to violate the constitution just by getting up in the morning.  Second, he is not qualified to clean the mud off of President Kennedy’s shoes. 

I am not sure if this individual residing in the White House is living in the same country as the rest of the nation, when he says; “…the state of our union is stronger. 

Then I fell out of my chair when he said, “nearly everyone’s energy bill is lower…

Well he is not hearing the people.  I have heard no one say, boy I am amazed how much lower my energy bills are this year.  Heating our homes is more expensive.  Lighting our homes is more expensive.  Most certainly operating our automobiles is much more expensive.  Where does this guy live? 

I practically had to be revived with smelling salts when He said “nothing I am proposing tonight should increase our deficit by a single dime.”  Say what? When we don’t have any cash, anything we do in new spending will increase the debt and deficit. 

I sat gasping for air when He said, “…America will complete its mission in Afghanistan, and achieve our objective of defeating the core of al Qaeda.”   Really, well who in the heck is killing our fighting personnel then?   What was our objective?  Go over there and get some men killed and leave? Because it appears that is what he has done.    

I could go on; However I am sure that anyone could see through this guy and his false impression of the State of our Union.  As long as we continue on the path He lays out, we will remain in trouble.  Spending and printing money leads to a totally broken economy.  Trying to lead the nation to a new energy policy with government dollars instead of allowing the markets and industry to discover what works will break the nation.  Further, allowing people like Chuck Hagel and John Kerry conduct policy that affects the security of this nation is leading us down a black hole. 

No, this guy doesn’t come close to John F. Kennedy.  I now fully understand why I was shocked at the beginning of his discourse of foolishness. 

A SHORT DRIVE OFF A FISCAL CLIFF

            As this nation is forced to drive off the edge of the “Fiscal Cliff,” one thing is becoming clear to those on both sides of the aisle.  Spending has taken this once rich nation into the mist of financial ruin. 

The tax and spend-crazies in the federal and state governments are going to have learn that, like the American family, they can’t spend what they don’t have in an attempt settle debt.  It appears now that even at the county and municipal levels of government, the tax and spend attitude has been brought on line as well. 

  In a recent Wall Street Journal article, former congressmen Chris Cox and Bill Archer, both former members of President Clinton’s Bipartisan National Commission on Entitlement and Tax Reform made it clear that additional taxing will not solve the problem this nation has before it.

I quote from the article by Cox and Archer:  “In short, if the government confiscated the entire adjusted gross income of these American taxpayers, plus all of the corporate taxable income in the year before the recession, it wouldn't be nearly enough to fund the over $8 trillion per year in the growth of U.S. liabilities. Some public officials and pundits claim we can dig our way out through tax increases on upper-income earners, or even all taxpayers. In reality, that would amount to bailing out the Pacific Ocean with a teaspoon. Only by addressing these unsustainable spending commitments can the nation's debt and deficit problems be solved.”

In the American family, it is not possible to spend your way out of debt. The same is true for this nation.  We don’t have a tax problem in this nation, we have a spending problem.  If we were to raise revenues, (code word “taxes” for those spenders) the spend- crazies would not pay down the debt, they would merely spend it, so to raise taxes would do us not one drop of good. 

Let’s get this spending ship under control, and slow it down by making massive cuts in the entitlements that have brought this nation to the edge of financial ruin.  The problem is not the money used to defend the freedom and liberty we enjoy, it is not the comparatively small amount spent on foreign aid or the cost of the salaries of those in congress.  It is the “entitlements” the American people keep voting themselves by electing the spend- crazies to Washington.  It is the crazy government bureaucracy that the constitution has never called for the federal government to provide.   

We the people must change, and change who we send to Washington. We must return to the intent of our founding fathers.  God save the United States of America.

CONFUSED AND FRUSTRATED

There are times when the events of life leave me confused and frustrated.  This past Tuesday was one of those days and events.  I am, of course, speaking of Election Day 2012.  What appeared to be sort of no-brainers as far as candidates and ballot proposals go, one could almost predict the outcome by knowing the outcome of the other. 

As the state of Michigan goes, for presidential elections, this state has been a blue state for a long time.  It has also been a blue state in the contests for United States Senate for a good number of years as well. 

As we all know, the outcome of the Electoral College was over fairly early in the evening with the “regime” gaining another 4 years of tyranny over the people.  Given the mass overthrow of the donkey in the state legislature two years ago, one could have guessed that a continued trend would have been the outcome with this election year. 

But no, it seems the electorate lost their memories or train of thought, or was just dumbed down.  That would be hard to believe with over the last two years by the stand up actions of the “regime” in Libya, Afghanistan and the attack on the east coast by Sandy just before the day the votes were counted.

However, that is not the real puzzling issue.  The puzzling issue for me is that the votes in Michigan turned away 5 ballot proposals (actually 6, one was a brain fade of a move) which were being pushed by large government unions and special interest groups that would possibly cost the state huge amounts of money.  They made, for the most part, very intelligent moves at the ballot on the proposals but completely lost their heads when voting for leader at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. and in the Senate Chamber of the United States Capitol. 

 

Is it the problem of the grass roots of our party?  Is it the candidates we nominate?  Or are the voters just ignorant and uniformed on whom or what they are voting on?  I have heard it said that in a communication between two people if the receiver is confused, it is the transmitter’s fault, because the transmitter must come across clearly with the message in a manner that the receiver understands and can apply the message given.   If that is true, then the grassroots has a problem.  I don’t really believe that is the problem. 

I believe the nation is changing and its morals are heading deeper and deeper into the abyss.  From abortion, same sex marriage, to taxes and debt, the electorate seems to be moving beyond center to the left.  They are more concerned with what they will receive from government than what they can do for their country. 

My principles force me to stand firm on these issues and I will not bend.  So, if that ends with liberal deception masters being those who are elected, then I shall remain confused and frustrated.   

 

 

 

THINGS HAVE TO CHANGE!

It is a week after the almost debilitating news about my candidate’s loss to the “regime”.  I was thankful that my county went big for my candidate, however the state floundered. 

I don’t understand how a state like this can beat back the big unions and special interests by defeating the ballot proposals that were turned away, yet fall so miserably with delivering the message of the candidates who are opposed to the big union and special interest candidates, Debbie Stabenow and Barack Hussein Obama. 

It seems as if there are two problems to me, one being that the electorate is either less than intelligent or less than informed.  The other being that the candidates we nominate are less than competitive.  The latter to these statements is untrue with Mitt Romney.  However, it seems the Senatorial candidate was, at best, lukewarm. 

Why is it that the nominating process in Michigan continues to allow anyone who can fog a mirror be a part of the nominating a parties candidate?  Is not the nominating process a party process?  If so, should we not change the process? 

It is my hope, and something I will scream from the roof tops, that this must change before the next election rolls up and Carl Levin or some other Democrat that he adorns sits down in the senate chambers in Washington D.C. for the state of Michigan.    

The Crazy Uncle

Having watched the recent debate between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan, I have to say I was ashamed to say that Joe Biden is the Vice-President of the United States of America.  His horrendous display of disrespect toward a seated member of congress and toward the citizens of this nation was at best a man in desperation.  Issues discussed at debates are of the utmost importance and need an attitude of respect and concern, not one of laughter, joking and disrespect.   

Paul Ryan was the one who was showing respect and leadership.  All the time, I was wondering how he was able to control himself and not slap the smirk on Joe “the crazy uncle” Biden’s face around to the other side of his head.  But, that is just one reason why Mr. Ryan is where he is and I am where I am.   

“The crazy uncle” in his making jest of Mr. Ryan’s reference to President John Kennedy’s tax plan in 1963 was a bit of self destruction.  President Kennedy stated that “lower rates of taxation will stimulate economic activity and so raise the levels of personal and corporate income as to yield within a few years an increased – not reduced – flow of revenues to the federal government.”  These Democrats aren’t the Democrats of John F. Kennedy.  These Democrats don’t want Mr. Kennedy’s tax rate reduction, because they don’t want economic growth.  They want government growth, a government on the fast track toward socialism.

“The crazy uncle” made it clear that the Obama administration will not “force” their beliefs on abortion down the people’s throats.  However, they have no problem forcing massive debt of Obamacare’s spending to abort children down the throats of those whose faith tells them to kill innocent unborn life is murder, whether you share that concern with others or not.  

The most recent debate demonstrated why a new direction for this nation is a must.  Get out and vote on November 6^th and vote reason back in the leadership of this nation.  Vote Romney/Ryan.
